The Beautiful West Canada Creek is a jewel in the Mohawk Valley area of New York. We fish on it, canoe on it and enjoy it in many ways. The West Canada Creek, more a river really, provided transport to many of our ancestors and founders of Trenton Falls New York. It cut the once world reknown Trenton Falls, the one time equivalent to the Niagara Falls, in its path to downstate. Dignitaries and common folk set up homes and roots as well as stayed in the Moore's Hotel near the falls.

An integral part of our past, present and future and a provider of water to the New York water system. This very popular piece of the New York Canal system is in peril. Our mission at West Canada Riverkeepers is to preserve this key part of our past and future. Help us help you!
